"Participating in the Master Naturalist program and these subsequent research assignments has been a great assistance in helping me to connect with other naturalists living in New York City!" - Carey Russell, Master Naturalist
Tuition is $360 per package or $65 per module. Some scholarship money is available. Nonprofit donors may require 5-10 hours of relevant service. Total relevant service is 20 hours. Instructors are paid $30/student attending, with Quality Parks collecting the remain for coaching students.
The entire Master Naturalist certificate program is a well rounded experience. There's also an option to receive NYS CTLE professional development service credits (42). Instructors follow the curriculum and organize their own training sessions as part of our training team. Together, let's weather the storms of climate change, whether they be from Nor'easters, hurricanes, wildfires, invasive species, wildlife declines, and more.
