Pennsylvania Sedge (Carex pensylvanica)​

Pennsylvania Sedge can form continuous ground cover in sunny to full shade areas. It takes time to establish, and you can also intermix plants  as needed. Double space them to allow for growth.

Characteristics: cool season, spreads by rhizomes
Habitat: great understory for dry woods, also lawn alternative
